Dad’s Ribs
Ingredients
- Baby back or St. Louis style pork ribs
- 1 TBSP Salt
- 1 TBSP Pepper
- 1 TBSP Onion powder
- 1 TBSP Garlic powder
- 2/3 bottle of white wine
- Bullseye original BBQ Sauce as needed (1 cup goes a long way)
Directions
- Combine spices in a small bowl
- Prepare pork Spare ribs by removing any excess fat
- Generously rub in the spices on each side of all of the ribs and layer in a roasting pan
- Add wine to the pan trying not to disturb rub
- Lightly cover pan with aluminum foil
- Place ribs in 300 degree oven for 2 hours
- Let cool and with a knife, cut between bones into individual pieces
- I figure for 3 ribs per person and freeze them for serving later
- For tonight, put the BBQ on low to medium heat and place the ribs on the grill
- Now is a good time to drink the other third of the wine
- After a few minutes, turn the ribs over and let cook some more. The next time that you turn them over start brushing the Sauce on the ribs wait a bit and repeat on the other side. Remove from heat and enjoy!
Enjoy with the 2020 Millerick Road Zinfandel or Sonoma Red. Cheers!
